ABOUT AGEALETE

WHO IS AGEALETE FOR?

Agealete is for the person, that wants to fight aging, or the person who wants to rejuvenate themselves and keep their vitality as long as they can.

The reason I have called this process ‘Agealete’ (which is a play-off of ‘Athlete’), is because to correct aging issues and fight against the physical and mental deterioration due to time is not easy.  To achieve one’s ‘wellness’ best post 50 and reduce and delay the disabling impact of impending degenerative aging one must train and work at it. This is not easy!

One of my favourite quotes that comes from A 1960’s fitness guru and phenomenon, Jack LaLanne

“ Dying is Easy, Living is an Athletic Event”

MOTIVATION TO OTHERS

I am not doing this as an ego stunt.  Frankly; broadcasting my goal and challenge is a way to motivate myself to train and manage my program as if I were an elite competitive athlete.  I am doing this to see how much I can reduce my biological age and keep ahead of the predicted degeneration that aging offers.  By putting together a community of those trying to do the same thing, Agealete will be a vehicle to motivate others to take on the same challenge and become Agealetes and examples of what can be accomplished.

Getting Old Is Not For Sissies!

One of my aging hero’s is my Aunt Ena, but her continual statement as she was ever increasing in years was the quote:  ‘Getting old is not for Sissies’

This was always humorous, but after studying aging since 2010, the host of maladies that could possibly affect us is as we get older is frightening and can be depressing for most of us. The fact of the matter is that most of us will live longer than our parents but most of this increased life span will be lived in disability.  Science tells us that as we age all our body’s functions and organs deteriorate with age. This combined with all the other issues life can throw at us can be daunting.

Although aging can be challenging, I am confident that aging can be reversed and one’s biological age at 50 and up to 70 and beyond can be halved. This is the process that I call “Rejuvenation”. I am confident that with an elite athletic mentality one can make major reduction in the declining functioning of an aging body.  If one starts early enough and uses the anti-aging knowledge that is in the public domain and combining this with knowledge that the Agealete community will gather and construct; then it is possible to live ones next 50 years better than the first.
